Traditional Food in Malaysia


Malays, Chinese and many other ethnic groups have lived together in a few generations ago. All these cultures have influenced each other, creating a truly Malaysian culture. The largest amount of people in Malaysia are the Malays, Chinese and Indians. Sabah and Sarawak, there are a myriad of indigenous ethnic groups, each with its unique culture and heritage and attractive. Today, the Malays, Malaysia's largest ethnic group, make up more than 50 percent of the population. In Malaysia, when referring to the Malay indicating the Muslim and practice Malay culture, Malay and Malay had sons. Originally they followers of Theravada Buddhism and Hinduism in the nineteenth century the 1400s, and by the influence of their royal court of Melaka to Islam. The Malays are known for their friendly and culturally very rich art.


Nasi lemak is a favorite food for the people of Malaysia and Singapore especially for breakfast. Fat rice refers to rice cooked with coconut milk, to add flavor in fat. Sometimes pandan leaves added during cooking for added fat rice aroma. Ethnic Malays eat nasi lemak with steamed egg, cucumber, fried anchovies and sambal.Tetapi now a variety of dishes are served with rice as chicken fat, beef, squid, shrimp, liver and beef liver.

This is why most of people from other country loves to visit Malaysia because of the FOOD!
